Educational Researcher

Short description for the position:

ENGINO® is looking for a smart and energetic person to fill the position of Educational Researcher at our headquarters in Limassol.

About ENGINO:

One of the fastest growing toy manufacturers worldwide, the award-winning ENGINO® is looking for a smart and energetic person to fill the position of Educational Researcher at our headquarters in Limassol.

This is the person who will develop the pedagogical material of ENGINO® that will help the children of various ages build, play, experiment and learn by doing about the different disciplines of STEM, Robotics and the engineering design method.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To be able to develop lesson plans with experiments for various ages and themes as these relate to STEM.
  • To research on the supporting theory of the lessons to be created and to produce sections with theory and explanations adjusted for the age of the student the product is being created for.
  • To carry out training to children, teachers and customers for ENGINO STEM curriculum and methodologies either in Cyprus or abroad.
  • To test the solutions with children and teachers, understand the problems and propose and implement corrective actions and solutions.
  • To propose new products and new knowledge fields which the company could enter and explore.
  • To have experience in writing & managing research proposals.
  • To have excellent writing skills and the ability to prepare & manage research proposals.

Qualifications required:

  • A Master degree in Education Science or Mathematics or Physics or STEM related field
  • Ideally a PhD in related field.
  • Excellent command of English Language and preferably also Greek.
  • Previous experience as an Educator.
  • Previous experience in creating lesson plans and learning experiences.
  • Previous experience in writing and managing research programs.

Software Developer

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and build reusable and reliable code.
  • Create efficient, optimized code while working with 3rd party libraries and tools.
  • Responsible for maintaining and improving some of the existing projects.
  • Continuously test, debug, profile, analyze, and optimize code on applicable platforms.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Work together with all members in R&D to define and maintain product requirements throughout the design stage.

Qualifications required :

  • BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or any other relevant field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience as Unity Programmer
  • Excellent knowledge of Unity3D, including experience with scripting, textures, animation and UI.
  • Strong knowledge of C#.
  • Experience with Mobile Development & apps development.
  • Experience with databases & Magento 2.

Senior Hardware/Firmware Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop hardware and firmware as well as the overall architecture for our existing and future products.
  • Responsible for the entire life cycle of the product, from definition to delivery and ongoing product support.
  • Work together with software and mechanical engineers to define and maintain product requirements throughout the design stage.
  • Source off the shelf hardware components for prototypes and manufacturing.

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor & Master in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proficient in C or C++ programming.
  • Experience or understanding of real-time embedded systems.
  • Proficient in electronics design using industry standard CAD tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of all microcontroller specific communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI).
  • Ability to use any lab equipment required to develop and debug hardware prototypes.
  • Knowledge of SMD electronics manufacturing (assembly) processes (desirable).
  • Experience in wireless sensors & communication protocols.
  • Analytical approach when it comes to problem solving/debugging.
  • Familiar with programming cortex M series microcontrollers.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Any specific experience with Bluetooth and wi-fi will be considered an advantage.

Injection tooling and CNC Engineer

Short description:

ENGINO® is looking for an energetic person for the position Injection tooling and CNC Engineer in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design of 3D plastic parts for assembly
  • Design and construction of high precision injection molds
  • Repair & Maintenance of existing molds
  • Testing of molds on injection machines and setting up with optimal production settings
  • Testing and fine-tuning of parts until they meet dimensional, functional, aesthetic and production cost requirements
  • Communication with internal engineers from R&D and the engino team for the development of new products
  • Management and coordination of external teams for any outsourced works with regular visits abroad when needed for personal supervision
  • Development and management of an inhouse workshop team with technicians and engineers
  • Training of new Engineers in mold know-how and plastic injection machines

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 10 years’ experience in the field of injection tool making
  • Experience with slide mechanisms and hot runners
  • Excellent knowledge of CAD and CAM software such as Autodesk Inventor and EdgeCam
  • Expertise in the operation of CNC machines, EDM’s, Lathes, Grinders, Milling machines and other relevant equipment
  • Excellent knowledge of injection machine’s operation, plastic processing parameters and trouble shooting
  • Team Spirit, ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary

Digital Business Development Manager

ENGINO® is looking for an energetic person for the position Digital Business Development Manager in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Responsibilities:

The role’s primary purpose is to help develop and implement a strategy for a digital ecosystem transformation that will significantly drive online sales on both B2B and B2C with special emphasis on creating and forging a direct relationship with our customers.  More specifically:

  • To develop and implement an annual sales plan with KPI’s that will achieve our new business revenue targets – for both existing and new clients.
  • To review performance to the plan and update the activities and report regularly to top management.
  • To define and manage the delivery of new business campaigns to our target sectors and brands, to generate new business leads, grow our prospect database and generate new business briefs
  • Manage e-commerce operations for orders processing, payments and deliveries. Create a control system to monitor and measure delivery times, customer service, customer satisfaction and troubleshooting response and effectiveness.
  • Costing analysis and financial study and prepare relevant reports.
  • To oversee the development of various digital assets to build-up a complete digital ecosystem, combining eshop, games, e-learning platforms, ERP connection, apps etc.
  • To manage outsourced tasks on digital marketing and overall digital assets’ development and gradually build-up, mentor and control an inhouse team.
  • To work with existing online sellers such as Amazon to maximize sales revenue.
  • To develop and implement a drop-ship program for B2B and a subscription model for B2C within Europe at first and then globally.
  • To communicate, present, negotiate, agree with retailers, agents and distributors in various countries on how to sell our products in both the offline and online channel.
  • To develop and maintain/update a marketing handbook that will boost sales in various channels.
  • To ensure we have commercial agreements in place with our chosen target partners and that all legalities of digital business are followed.
  • Travel abroad regularly as needed to meet with customers, visit and present at trade fairs etc.

 

Requirements:

  • Any bachelor’s degree. A Master degree relating to Business Management and Digital Marketing (or 7 years’ experience in Management positions.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in eshops management and digital business development at international companies.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English. Other languages are considered as an advantage.
  • Microsoft Office and internet skills. Knowledge of CRM and other software is considered as an advantage.
  • Deep understanding of WordPress, Magento 2 and digital platforms.

Graphics Designer

Graphics designer  

ENGINO® is looking for an energetic person for the position Graphic designer in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Responsibilities:

Will develop the various artwork and visual communication of the company for B2B and B2C purposes. This will include package design, brochures, education books, websites, magazine advertising, videos, banners etc. Special emphasis will be given in the development of web-based graphics including Facebook posts and adds, google banners, web banners etc., as well as videos and animations for enhancing the brand content.

 

  • Understanding deeply the packaging technology, offset and digital printing production methods and materials. Keeping up to date with latest trends.
  • Working within budgets and deadlines.
  • Researching similar products and competition as well as design trends, proposing and developing new ideas.
  • Developing the brand’s visual assets for retail, packaging, communication and marketing projects.
  • Designing new packages, prototyping and testing them in close cooperation with the Sales and Marketing Department but also with the other subdivisions of the R&D to make sure that designs fulfill the aesthetics, child safety, technical or educational requirements.
  • Develop the graphics for offline and online marketing including social media posts such as Facebook and Instagram.
  • Cooperate effectively with the other members of the R&D team so as to have an overview of all developments and the final product and how this will engage the consumer.
  • Producing reports and presenting their ideas to colleagues and clients at various stages of the design process
  • Modifying their ideas according to the feedback they receive at these sessions
  • Managing the graphic assets from typesetting through to design, print and production
  • Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites, determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size
  • Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required
  • Liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Graphics design.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the field.
  • Excellent written and oral knowledge of English and ideally also Greek.
  • Excellent knowledge of CorelDRAW, Adobe softwares (Illustrator, photoshop, InDesign)
  • Knowledge of web design, video & photo editing & production will be considered as an advantage.
