Logistics Officer

We are looking for a qualified candidate for our Logistics Department at our ENGINO® headquarters in Limassol.

 

Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified candidate for our Logistics Department. Ideal candidate will possess previous Sales/Traffic/Customer Service experience for Export/Import air/ocean shipping, FCL/LCL rate quotations, booking cargo on vessels/flights, cargo releases, customs procession, intermodal operations, documentation, and administration related to the Export/Import field, as well as handling ecommerce orders and customer samples.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Acquire and evaluate pricing quotes from shipping agents for various shipments, exports or imports.
  • Receive and process FCL/LCL orders; schedule and book containers for shipment with steamship lines or airfreight.
  • Arrange for trucking and warehousing when required for inbound or outbound cargo.
  • Rate negotiation with forwarders, ship lines and agents.
  • Arrange and overview Bookings / AES Filing / Documentation / Insurance.
  • Establish relationships with agents and carriers that guarantee efficient and accurate routings and billings.
  • Interface with domestic and overseas offices, suppliers and customers or representatives and agents to resolve problems.
  • Provide information to customers on disposition of their cargo and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Enter all information and data in computer system on a continual basis.
  • Communicate with customs for import and export process and arrange all necessary documentation.
  • Coordinate with the logistic departments of customers and suppliers for the smoother export or import along with documentation management and critical supervision of processes and timelines.
  • Take care of the logistics relevant to the ecommerce business and Amazon.
  • Control external 3rd party warehouses which collaborate with the company.
  • Provide Sales Administration support and process orders and issue Documents such as Proformas, Invoices, packing slips etc.

 

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any other field that will demonstrate adequate critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • No experience is required but it will be considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of CRM and ERP systems will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, communication and time-management skills.
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Greek.
  • Ability to handle a large volume of work while maintaining focus on the customer; Works well under pressure; flexible and outgoing team player.
  • Strong working knowledge of key Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel).

 

Remuneration Package Offered:

The position is a permanent position at the ENGINO® factory in Limassol Cyprus. An attractive pay package is offered, depending on qualifications and experience, and 13th salary is offered.

Makerspace Engineer/ DIY STEM projects developer

Makerspace Engineer/ DIY STEM projects developer

ENGINO® is looking for a smart and energetic person to fill the position of Makerspace Engineer, either at our headquarters and education center in Limassol.

Main Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the Research, Design, Development and Implementation of DIY projects using the engino parts, 3D printer, laser cutter and other wood processing equipment that allow children from the age of 4 to 16 to make their own technical device or toy. The developed projects would include the parts, models and lesson plans for students as well as teacher guide.

· The projects will be of various complexities from simple constructions to functional mechanics and to electronics with Arduino and other platforms such as Microbit and Raspberry pi along with own ENGINO proprietary electronics. This includes conceptual drawings, 3D design, model modeling, prototyping, testing, iterating and bringing to manufacture along with the creation of the instructions and educational content relating to each project.

· Work closely with the ENGINO educational team as well as the R&D people in various departments (Marketing, Product Design, Software and electronics Developmen, Graphics etc).

· Operate the 3D printing and Laser cutting and make efficient prototypes and DIY makerspace projects

· Teach makerspace lessons developed to students of all ages, in-house at the center but also with visits to schools and other locations when needed.

Qualifications required:

· Degree in Industrial/Product Design or Mechanical Engineering and/or Education Science or other related degree.

· Graduated at least 2 years ago, with work experience in design and manufacturing or Makerspaces.

· Excellent Knowledge of 3D CAD Design software, ideally Autodesk Inventor, but also Solid Works, or Similar software.

· Knowledge of other software such as Tinkercad, 3DS Max, Photoshop, CorelDraw and programming will be considered an advantage.

· Expert in 3D printing and prototyping and hands’ on projects.

· Portfolio demonstrating capabilities.

· Team player

· Problem solving mentality

· Strong communicator with innovative mind, with a passion for results and perfectionism.

· An Educator by heart, with a natural inclination towards teaching and mentoring the young generation.

Junior Business Development Officer

Job Description:

We are looking for a recent graduate for our ENGINO® headquarters in Limassol. The ideal candidate will support the sales development of our toys and systems for the retail market (toy stores, department stores, supermarkets etc) and for the school market and Ministries of Education. The successful candidate will travel regularly once permitted to visit customers in various countries around the world, organize and participate in trade shows and manage existing and new accounts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to expand the distribution network internationally.
  • Present Engino products to potential business clients worldwide. (Via email, phone etc.)
  • Take over and grow existing customers (distributors, retailers, ministries of education and schools) in various countries
  • Negotiate commercial terms with clients.
  • Account management of clients in various inquiries.
  • Coordinate orders with clients and liaise with Exports Department for the production, shipments documentation and payments.
  • Discuss marketing plans with clients and liaise with Marketing Department to execute projects.
  • Monitor and control payments from clients in collaboration with Accounting Department.
  • Propose to R&D Department new potential products as per market trends and customer needs.
  • Set up and operate CRM system.
  • Prepare weekly reports and ISO control documents.

Qualifications required:

  • No previous experience required.
  • Batchelor’s degree, preferably in Business or relevant field.
  • Master’s degree is considered as an advantage.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English. Other languages are considered as an advantage.
  • Microsoft Office and internet skills.
  • Knowledge of CRM and other software is considered as an advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience in science, robotics and education will be considered an advantage.
